ac2ca8f965 feat(ui): port retail spellbook interactions
Resolve the authored spell shortcut row prototype so the spellbook presents the retail icon, name, separator, selected overlay, and scrollbar geometry. Port exact school and level filters, stable display ordering, selection exposure, and learned-spell drags into the open favorite bar.

Route deletion through the shared retail confirmation dialog and send CM_Magic::Event_RemoveSpell only after an affirmative answer, leaving the inbound server notice authoritative for list state.

ad30c37a48 fix(ui): restore retail spell tabs and spellbook
Bind the spellbook and component-book tabs as their authored stateful text controls, propagate Closed/Open state into the retained DAT child tree, and keep authored label colors live across state changes.

Match retail UIElement_Text zero-margin construction so the Magic favorite captions I through VIII are no longer clipped. Add a real portal.dat spellbook fixture plus controller, state-propagation, and text-layout regression coverage.

7b7ffcd278 fix(gameplay): reconcile wield ownership and target facing
Preserve PlayerDescription inventory/equipment ownership across authoritative manifest replacement, make weapon switching and combat/UI consumers read the same canonical object state, and carry the complete outbound player position frame across landblocks.

Route target-facing and mouse-look through the shared MovementManager and MotionInterpreter completion owner. Match retail input aggregation, toggle ordering, turn/sidestep remapping, per-axis hold keys, and synchronous movement publication without render-only heading state.

Initialize the live streaming origin from the first accepted canonical player Position, defer other projections until that origin exists, and retain logical entity identity through hydration.

Advance the project ledger from completed M2 to active M3, synchronize CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md and durable memory, and record the next cast-lifecycle, spellbook/enchantment, and two-client portal gates.

b26f84cc69 fix(ui): restore radar, retail wield switching, and protection meshes
Late-bind radar snapshots to the canonical LiveEntityRuntime maps so the retained radar survives bootstrap and session replacement instead of capturing empty sentinels.

Route paperdoll drops through the retail AutoWield blocker transaction. Move conflicting held weapons, shields, explicit jewelry destinations, and mismatched ammo to the backpack one authoritative confirmation at a time; preserve compatible arrows when switching to melee.

Render mode-1 and no-degrade particle GfxObjs as their authored modern-pipeline meshes, retain Always2D billboards, interleave both paths back-to-front, balance emitter mesh ownership, and fail safely on corrupt DAT material metadata. This restores the closed apex on Armor Self/protection effects.

Retain Studio fixture controller lifetimes, add installed-DAT and adversarial regression coverage, synchronize retail research/divergence bookkeeping, and pass all three review tracks plus the full Release suite.

8d63e5c28a test(vfx): harden live missile and effect lifetimes
Add deterministic 96-owner lifecycle and renderer-resource stress gates plus an exact twelve-cycle recall/portal ownership gate. Prove zero retained records, projectiles, spatial buckets, script queues, particle/light owners, shadows, pending effects, and mesh references after churn, GUID reuse, deletion, and session reset.

Make logical teardown incarnation-specific and reentrancy-safe with lifetime epochs, atomic resource registration, generation-aware effect/teleport cleanup, projection mutation tokens, and failure-isolated visibility fan-out. Finish canonical spatial transactions before reporting observer failures and never discard superseded cleanup failures.

Synchronize architecture, roadmap, milestones, retail research, divergence bookkeeping, and durable memory. All three independent review tracks are clean; Release build and the full 5,454-pass/5-skip suite are green.

a51ebc66e9 feat(physics): integrate live projectile runtime
Attach the retail projectile driver to canonical LiveEntityRecord ownership, sharing one PhysicsBody and full-cell identity with RemoteMotion regardless of creation order. Apply timestamp-gated state, vector, and position corrections in place, preserve active ordinary-body behavior when Missile clears, and keep renderer, effects, shadows, and spatial buckets synchronized across loaded/pending transitions.

Validate malformed packets before canonical timestamp mutation, validate adopted bodies from their current frame rather than stale CreateObject data, serialize late Setup resolution with streaming DAT reads, and preserve classification across clock anomalies. Retain shadow registrations through temporary leave-world residence while logical teardown remains generation-scoped.

Add 31 App lifecycle/adversarial tests plus Core shadow suspension coverage, and synchronize the retail pseudocode, architecture, milestones, roadmap, and durable physics memory.

f02b995e4f feat(physics): port retail projectile integration
Add a pure Core projectile driver for retail clock quanta, final-state acceleration, 50-unit velocity clamping, world-space angular integration, full-3D AlignPath, and oriented Setup-local sphere sweeps. Preserve exact success versus set_frame-only failure semantics, independent Contact/OnWalkable state, and full-cell identity across all landblock directions.

Port OBJECTINFO::missile_ignore with explicit weenie/creature metadata, remove the invented transition-step cap, retain PathClipped without arming PerfectClip, and keep authoritative target identity optional. Add malformed-shape/clock, thin-wall, terrain, target-exclusion, frame-spike, failure-state, and boundary conformance coverage.

Retire TS-2 and synchronize the architecture, milestones, roadmap, research oracle, and durable physics memory.

363e046112 feat(vfx): decode retail hooks and typed tables
Replace the incomplete package path with one DatCollection-backed compatibility seam for PhysicsScripts and Animations. Preserve CreateBlockingParticle's inherited payload and following cursor, route every production and audit consumer through the corrected loaders, and apply retail's post-UnPack StartTime ordering.

Add exact stored-order PhysicsScriptTable upper-threshold resolution, high-byte DID and embedded-ID validation, plus live effect profiles with Setup-to-PhysicsDesc precedence across top-level and attached entity lifetimes. Keep blocking execution deferred and narrow TS-11 accordingly.

Pin synthetic malformed/cursor/order fixtures, installed-DAT blocking and recall audits, high-index IDs, IEEE boundaries, profile teardown, and ordinary decoder parity; synchronize architecture, inventory, milestones, roadmap, research, and memory.

8dd996053d refactor(world): separate live lifetime from spatial buckets
Introduce LiveEntityRuntime as the canonical owner of each accepted server-object incarnation, stable local identity, timestamped state, parent relations, runtime components, and exactly-once teardown. Split logical registration from rebucketing so pending landblocks, equipment attachment, pickup re-entry, and GUID replacement reuse the same entity and effect owners.

Keep canonical materialized and visible target/radar views distinct, preserve retail leave_world versus exit_world semantics, gate root simulation while cell-less, and track transitional pre-Create F754 owners through delete and session reset. Remove stale-spawn rehydration and make GpuWorldState spatial-only for live objects.

Add lifecycle, generation, pending, unload, attachment, event-publication, local-ID, rollback, and effect-cleanup coverage; update architecture, milestones, memory, and the divergence register.

9a772d2b2a docs: M1.5 "Indoor world feels right" LANDED 2026-07-10 — advance to M2
User-gated the full dungeon round-trip (enter via portal -> navigate rooms ->
exit to the outdoor world), completing the #138 acceptance. Both M1.5 demo
halves are now confirmed: building/cellar (prior sessions) + full dungeon
round-trip (2026-07-10). Milestone-crossing artifacts per the milestones-doc
discipline:

- Pinned M1.5 landing writeup + flipped header to LANDED; caveats explicit
  (#145-residual far-town teleport-OUT + #116 slide-response carried as
  post-M1.5 follow-ups, NOT blockers).
- Freeze list applied: all M1.5 phases (indoor render Option A, A6/A6.P4
  physics, A7 lighting, full Phase G.3 dungeon support) now frozen per rule 2.
- M2 "Kill a drudge" flipped to ACTIVE; first ports = CombatMath.ComputeDamage
  (F.3) + inventory panel (F.2) + combat anim (L.1c).
- CLAUDE.md "currently working toward" advanced to M2.
- #138 closed (user gate).

No demo video (per the user's standing preference).

5e271dd719 docs: reconcile M1.5 tracking with git reality — G.3 dungeons SHIPPED, not "broken"
The milestones doc, roadmap, CLAUDE.md banner, and #138's ISSUES cross-ref had
drifted ~4 weeks behind shipped work — they still claimed "dungeons don't work
AT ALL / terrain-less landblocks unsupported (#133)", which sent this session
chasing a phantom door "regression" for an hour. Git reality (and tonight's live
dungeon session) refute it:

- #133 teleport-into-dungeon DONE (G.3a hold-until-hydrate FSM 7947d7a/2ce5e5c8/47ae237e);
  the terrain-less premise was refuted at design time (90786c19: dungeon LandBlock
  is flat-terrain, streams via the existing pipeline).
- #95 portal-graph visibility blowup RESOLVED (9.1M→~39k instances, a40c38e8).
- #137 dungeon collision CLOSED (0efa7ed2); doors #187/#188; A7 lighting #79/#93/#80/#154 CLOSED.
- #138 teleport-OUT ESSENTIALLY RESOLVED in code — the remaining M1.5 gap is one
  RECORDED end-to-end round-trip user gate, not broken code.

Also fixes a numbering trap: #138's body cited "#146/#147" for its collision
residuals, but those numbers are D.2b inventory-polish issues in this worktree;
the real residuals are #152 (portal-in walls, DONE 49d743f) + #151 (far-town
walls, FIXED 9743537). Sole live residual now surfaced: far-town teleport-OUT
arrival cascade (#145-residual, REOPENED — capture-harness-first).

Historical working-notes annotated [SUPERSEDED] rather than deleted.

ea42c6d303 docs: record D.2b UI Studio + importer dat-fidelity + Character window (shipped this session)
Roadmap: extend D.5-remaining ledger with three new shipped entries (UI Studio,
importer Fix A/B/C, Character window 0x2100002E). Milestone M5: update D.2b
status paragraph to name all shipped sub-phases including the studio, importer
boundary discovery (look=importer / state=runtime), and Character window with
deferred polish pointer (#151).

ISSUES: add #151 (Character window deferred polish — LOW, filed 2026-06-26;
user accepted Attributes tab as good-enough, polish items to be enumerated later).
Issues #149 (studio inventory all-black) and #150 (GameWindow font resolver) were
already present.

Divergence register: add AP-69 (per-element dat-font resolver is studio-only;
GameWindow passes null to the four Import sites until #150 lands). No row for
Fix-4 UIState-group activation (runtime-faithful, not a deviation) or for the
tab-sprite injection / footer-state hiding (same).

9c2ceb2336 milestone: re-open M1.5 — dungeon support (full G.3) pulled into scope; M2 re-deferred
Correction to 1bf037a. The user reverted the M1.5 landing: the indoor
world isn't done while dungeons are completely broken. Attempting the
dungeon demo revealed it's not a single bug (#133) but a whole-feature
gap — terrain-less indoor-only dungeon landblocks aren't supported
anywhere in the streaming/load/render/physics pipeline:
- LandblockLoader.Load returns null when there's no LandBlock terrain
  record (dungeons have none) -> the dungeon never loads.
- LandblockStreamer fails when the terrain mesh build returns null
  (dungeons have no terrain mesh).
- The teleport-arrival snap Resolves before the dungeon hydrates ->
  places the player in the old Holtburg frame over ocean.

The user chose the FULL Phase G.3 scope (dungeon streaming + portal-space
loading screen + multi-landblock LOD + PlayerTeleport handling) and
pulled it into M1.5. M1.5 lands only when BOTH the building/cellar demo
(done) and the dungeon demo (enter via portal, navigate 3-5 rooms, walls
block, smooth transitions) pass. M2 (CombatMath) re-deferred.

Currently brainstorming the dungeon-support design (spec ->
docs/superpowers/specs/). Docs corrected: milestones (M1.5 ACTIVE +
extended, M2 DEFERRED, currently-working-toward -> M1.5), CLAUDE.md
current-state, ISSUES.md #133 (G.3 pulled into M1.5).

1bf037a1c9 milestone: M1.5 LANDED (building/cellar demo); dungeon demo -> #133/G.3; start M2
M1.5 "Indoor world feels right" lands on its primary building/cellar
demo, user-gated across the 2026-06 sessions: multi-floor inn navigation
without sling-out/wall-clip, cottage cellar descend+ascend without
falling through, walls block everywhere, smooth cell transitions. The
holistic Option-A render port (one DrawInside(viewer_cell), BR-2..BR-7 /
T1..T6) and the A6.P4 per-cell shadow physics shipped and were gated; the
doorway-flap family is closed (#119/#128, #112, #113, #124,
#129/#130/#131/#132, #108-residual, #127) and the #90/synthesis
workarounds removed.

The dungeon half is the one piece NOT landed: attempting the dungeon demo
(meeting-hall portal) surfaced issue #133 - teleport-into-a-dungeon snaps
the player BEFORE the dungeon landblock streams in (GameWindow.cs:4928
Resolve falls back to the resident Holtburg landblocks -> snaps to an
outdoor cell over ocean). That is Phase G.3 (dungeon streaming +
PlayerTeleport handling, M4), not a render bug (#95 died with the Option
A rewrite). Per the milestones doc's pre-flagged choice, the dungeon demo
is promoted to G.3 and M1.5 lands on the building/cellar demo (user
decision 2026-06-13).

Start M2 "Kill a drudge" - first port target CombatMath.ComputeDamage
(port-ready per the combat-math research memo; ACE oracle). Drudges spawn
outdoors for the demo, so M2 does not depend on #133/G.3.

Files: milestones doc (M1.5 -> LANDED, M2 -> ACTIVE, currently-working-
toward flipped), CLAUDE.md current-state -> M2, ISSUES.md #133 filed.

75b1df9cc3 docs: abandon two-pipe render approach; scope Phase U (unified retail-faithful pipeline)
Decision (2026-05-30, with user): the WB-inherited two-pipe (inside/outside) render
split is the root cause of the indoor seam bugs (flap, missing/transparent walls,
terrain bleed) and cannot be seamless. Abandon A8/A8.F (#103); build ONE unified
pipeline driven by retail's PView portal visibility — seamless by construction. The
2026-05-30 camera-collision + physics viewer-cap work is kept (retail-faithful, but a
detour from the seam fix). New Phase U scoped; #103 superseded; CLAUDE.md / roadmap /

90fbdc02df docs(roadmap+milestones): mark A6.P1/A6.P2 shipped; update M1.5 demo
A6.P1 (cdb probe spike) + A6.P2 (analysis report) both SHIPPED this
session. Updated:

  docs/plans/2026-04-11-roadmap.md — M1.5 phase block now shows A6.P1
  + A6.P2 SHIPPED with commit refs; A6.P3 entry expanded with the
  Finding-2-first sequencing recommendation from A6.P2; A6.P4 entry
  notes the original "Holtburg Sewer end-to-end" acceptance walk is
  unreachable (sewer doesn't exist).

  docs/plans/2026-05-12-milestones.md — M1.5 demo scenario split into
  building/cellar half (achievable post-A6.P3) + dungeon half (blocked
  on issue #95 visibility blowup; promote to post-M1.5 if #95 isn't
  fixed in scope). Issue list updated: added #95 + indoor sling-out
  (new from scen4); marked stairs/2nd-floor/cellar as characterized by
  A6.P2 Finding 2 family.

  CLAUDE.md — Currently-working-toward block now points at A6.P3 as
  the active phase. A6.P1 + A6.P2 ship noted with the findings doc
  pointer. Demo-scenario note updated to reflect the sewer + #95
  reality. Issues-in-scope updated.

Also includes a 1-line trailing-prompt addition to scen3 + scen4
retail.log files (cdb wrote one more `0:000>` after the kill that
landed after the original capture commits).

2256006cb7 ship(O): Phase O — DatPath Unification — SHIPPED
ONE thing touches the DATs. WB code lives in our repo:
- src/AcDream.Core/Rendering/Wb/ — pure helpers (5 files, ~782 LOC)
- src/AcDream.App/Rendering/Wb/ — GL infra + mesh pipeline (~27 files, ~7K LOC)

Project references to WorldBuilder.Shared + Chorizite.OpenGLSDLBackend
dropped from AcDream.App.csproj and AcDream.Core.csproj.
references/WorldBuilder/ remains in-tree as read-reference only.

DefaultDatReaderWriter eliminated; DatCollection is the only dat reader.
WbMeshAdapter consumes our DatCollection via DatCollectionAdapter
(O-D7 fallback adapter; ObjectMeshManager has 26 _dats.X call sites,
exceeding the 20 refactor threshold).

Visual side-by-side passed: Holtburg town, inn interior, dungeon all
render identically to pre-O.

Doc updates:
- CLAUDE.md: rewrote WB integration cribs to point at extracted code.
  Code Structure Rules rule 2 updated to remove stale seam names.
  "Currently working toward" flipped from Phase O to M1.5 resumption.
- docs/architecture/worldbuilder-inventory.md: Phase O banner added.
  Status/integration model updated to post-O ownership. Workflow
  section updated to reference our extracted tree, not WB project ref.
- docs/plans/2026-04-11-roadmap.md: Phase O moved to shipped table.
  Phase O "ahead" block collapsed to SHIPPED note. M1.5 block updated
  to ACTIVE (Phase O shipped; resuming from 2026-05-20 baseline).
- docs/plans/2026-05-12-milestones.md: M1.5 heading updated to ACTIVE;
  Phase O ship writeup prepended to the M1.5 block.

Phase O ship closes Tasks O-T1..O-T7 shipped across this session.

6d18d879a2 docs(milestones): promote indoor work to M1.5 — primary focus
Continued indoor testing through 2026-05-20 surfaced a deep family
of physics + lighting bugs that span buildings AND dungeons. Today's
session shipped 5 surgical fixes (A4 + #89 + #90 + #91 + #92) that
close the user-visible "walls walk through at Holtburg inn" symptom,
but #90 specifically is a CLAUDE.md-rules workaround (sphere-overlap
stickiness on top of point-only cell containment) added without prior
approval. The underlying issue (BSP push-back distance probably
diverges from retail) hasn't been measured. Plus the umbrella #83
(indoor multi-Z walking) has been open since 2026-05-19 with multiple
aborted fix attempts; plus indoor lighting (#80 + #81 + new #93 +
#94) has been deferred as "M7 polish" but is actually part of the
same indoor-experience problem.

Promoting to a milestone of its own forces the work to be central,
retail-anchored, and complete — not another whack-a-mole patch.

Milestone M1.5 — "Indoor world feels right":
  Demo: enter Holtburg Sewer through the in-town portal, navigate
  through 5-7 rooms with stairs + a multi-Z chamber, exit back to
  town. Walls block. Stairs work. Items block. Lighting reads
  correctly. Cell transitions smooth.

  Phases:
    A6 — Indoor physics fidelity (cdb-driven)
    A7 — Indoor lighting fidelity (RenderDoc + retail-decomp driven)

  Issues in scope: #80, #81, #83, #88, #90 (workaround removal),
  #93 (new lighting umbrella), #94 (held-item spotlight),
  + TryFindIndoorWalkablePlane synthesis removal.

M2 ("Kill a drudge") deferred until M1.5 lands.

This commit updates:
  - docs/plans/2026-05-12-milestones.md (M1.5 block inserted, M2 moved
    to deferred status)
  - docs/plans/2026-04-11-roadmap.md (A6 + A7 sub-pieces detailed)
  - CLAUDE.md (Currently working toward updated to M1.5, M2 paragraph
    marked deferred, M1.5 baseline shipped paragraph added)
  - docs/ISSUES.md (#80, #81, #83, #88, #90 tagged M1.5 scope;
    new #93 indoor lighting umbrella + #94 held-item spotlight filed)
  - docs/research/2026-05-21-open-items-pickup-prompt.md (landscape
    table reorganized around M1.5 phases)

A6 + A7 specs to be drafted in the next session(s).

fb92122731 milestone: M1 landed; flip "currently working toward" to M2
M1 "Walkable + clickable world" landed 2026-05-16 with Phase B.6
(d640ed7). All four demo targets work end-to-end retail-faithfully:
walk Holtburg, open inn door, click NPC, pick up item.

Freeze list applied: L.2 (collision), B.4 (interaction outbound),
B.5 (pickup) — these phases are off-limits until M7 polish unless
something is actively broken.

CLAUDE.md "currently working toward" advanced to M2 — "Kill a drudge."
Phases to ship: F.2 (Inventory panel), F.3 (Combat math + damage),
F.5a (dev panels Attributes/Skills/Equipped/Inventory), L.1c
(combat animation wiring), L.1b (command router prereq).

Also removes the "record a demo video" requirement from milestone
discipline (CLAUDE.md rule #3 + milestones doc operating rule #3) —
user finds video recording pointless. Milestones are now textual
events: writeup + freeze flip + CLAUDE.md "currently working toward"
update. Saved as feedback memory.

7be13938bc docs(M1): record all 4 demo targets met, list deferred polish
M1's demo scenario is mechanically complete:
  1. Walk through Holtburg — met via L.2a/d/g
  2. Open the inn door — met via B.4b + B.4c
  3. Click an NPC — met via B.4b chain + chat handlers
     (visually verified 2026-05-14 on Tirenia + Royal Guard)
  4. Pick up an item — met via B.5 + 87ba5c9 feedback polish

What's left to formally land: record ≈30s demo video, pin still +
writeup, flip freeze list, point CLAUDE.md "currently working toward"
at M2. Per the milestone-discipline rules, milestone landing is a
user-driven event with an artifact; this commit only updates the
factual demo-target status.

Filed but explicitly deferred (don't block M1 recording): #61 (door
swing cycle-boundary flash), #62 (PARTSDIAG null-guard), #63
(server-initiated MoveToObject auto-walk — candidate Phase B.6),
#64 (local-player pickup animation).

aba6c9ac7f docs(phys L.2g): slice 1 shipped handoff + B.4 gap discovery + plan-of-record
L.2g slice 1 is CODE-COMPLETE: parser + registry mutator + WorldSession
dispatcher + GameWindow subscriber (4 commits: 2459f28, d538915,
536a608, 108e386). Build clean, 6 new tests pass, baseline-stable
across the full suite. Per-commit + final integration code reviews
all approved.

Visual verification deferred: while running the Holtburg-doorway test,
Phase B.4's outbound Use handler turned out to be unwired. The wire
builders (InteractRequests.BuildUse), classes (SelectionState,
WorldPicker), input-action enums, and keybindings all exist — but
GameWindow.OnInputAction has no case for SelectDblLeft, so the click
silently does nothing. The inbound L.2g chain we just landed can't
fire until something sends an outbound Use.

This commit captures the handoff + reframes next-session work:

  * docs/research/2026-05-12-l2g-slice1-shipped-handoff.md (NEW)
    Full evidence: 4 shipped commits, end-to-end code flow, B.4
    discovery explanation, 4 minor + 1 Important review notes
    (the Important one is a test-coverage gap that the B.4b visual
    test will settle automatically), reproducibility recipe,
    next-session pick.

  * CLAUDE.md
    "Currently in Phase L.2" paragraph: L.2g slice 1 code shipped;
    visual test deferred to B.4b. Next-phase-candidates list:
    L.2g slice 1 (now done) replaced with the B.4b candidate
    pointing at the slice scope.

  * docs/plans/2026-04-29-movement-collision-conformance.md
    L.2g section gains a "Current shipped slice (2026-05-12):" table
    listing the 4 commits.

  * docs/plans/2026-05-12-milestones.md
    M1 phase-list updated: L.2g slice 1 (code) shipped; B.4 renamed
    "B.4 / B.4b" with the gap-discovery note + B.4b shape.

  * docs/ISSUES.md
    New issue #57 (HIGH) for the B.4 interaction-handler gap.
    Promoted to Phase B.4b; will close as
    DONE (promoted to Phase B.4b) when B.4b's design spec lands.

  * Memory file project_interaction_pipeline.md (in personal
    memory dir, not in this commit) updated to reflect reality.

Next session: Phase B.4b (~30-50 LOC, 1-2 subagent dispatches,
~30 min). Subscribe SelectDblLeft -> WorldPicker.Pick ->
InteractRequests.BuildUse -> _liveSession.SendGameMessage. Same
Holtburg-doorway visual test verifies both L.2g slice 1 and B.4b
in one pass.
