**2026-09-05 owner capture:** the new same-stairwell frame proves e229 is
resident and rejected in all seven views; its tilt differs from the historical
fixture. A follow-up read proves `newmethod=1`, so retail uses
`PrimD3DRender::ScreenToViewTransform`; the test replay instead uses the legacy
ray formula with a different screen center. The capture blocker is removed.
Status is **IN-PROGRESS** under packet §39's test-only projection diagnostic.
Do not call the old mismatch an accepted x87 boundary until that experiment
is complete. Evidence: `oh-capture/cathedral-stair-arch-e229.combined-r1.log`
and `cathedral-stair-arch-e229.projection-mode.log`.
